In this inaugural broadcast of the new weekly PI Window on Business Blog Talk Radio show, I open the lines to everything and anything dealing with purchasing and supply chain practice.
From the impact of government policy on suppliers and taxpayers, to emerging technologies and the fallout from the current financial crisis on job stability, I am certain that this show is bound to elicit interesting, insightful and even thought provoking dialogue.

April 9 – Is the traditional association membership model dead?
Traditional membership models for many associations have become somewhat stagnate in that they are not effectively aligned with the emerging Web 2.0 world of dynamic engagement between stakeholders sharing the same interests and goals. This includes concerns with the ongoing viability of current professional designation programs in terms of real-world relevancy.
In this segment, PI Window on Business brings together a panel of professionals to discuss and perhaps even debate the structure of the new association model and its place in the emerging globalized business community.
