Reader reaction continues to be strong for Barry Bonds’ Post . . .

The Barry Bonds’ post has appeared to strike a chord with readers in terms of being a conceptual touchstone in that strong viewpoints are now being presented by what was previously perceived as being a largely dormant, disinterested populace.

Here is just one more example of the reactions I have received from what now appears to be an increasingly interested and informed readership.

“Great analogy Jon, now I see where you are coming from about the GoC!  You should look up CPC-2-0-03 from Spectrum Management, where the installation of towers for communications will have to go to the public meeting process, which could add another 4 months on before construction can begin.  What that one does is feed the rooftop owners the ability to gouge excessively for rental.  Right now the price of a rooftop here has gone from $2K per month to $4k.”

Once again, the effectiveness of any post or article regardless of author is measured by its effectiveness to stimulate feedback and debate.  Given the importance (and wide-ranging impact) of the GoC’s Shared Service strategy on Canada and Canadians as a whole, a passionate and intelligent dialogue is both critical and necessary.
