I was recently humbled to have been selected by author and Ecademy Founder Penny Power to be featured across the entire network of close to 500,000 members in more than 200 countries worldwide.
It is an amazing social network which was clearly demonstrated in my two interviews with both Penny and her husband and partner Thomas Power on the PI Window on Business Show. One of the key elements of Ecademy is its focus on the people behind the profiles.
I must admit that at first I was a bit uncomfortable with the idea of stepping out from behind the mike because as a writer and even more so as a talk radio host, I much prefer to let my guests’ insights and contributions shine both on-air and off.
However, Ecademy above all is a relationship network and to build relationships you really need to know the individual with whom you are interacting in both the virtual and real worlds.
Ironically, it also caused me to reflect a little on how much beyond the brief snippets offered through a bio, listed experience, or even through the media itself, do my readers and listeners really know about me?
So within the Ecademy Spirit I am happy to share the link to their write-up, as well as share a less formal picture with you.
