IACCM Comes to Canada

There are now two IACCM events in Canada in January, one in Toronto and one in Vancouver. IACCM members in the areas will meet to network, discuss some of the key issues affecting their work today and to decide whether they would like to institute regular get-togethers for the future.



Vancouver will be Wednesday, 20 January 2010, from 9:00 am to Noon.

Venue: Downtown Vancouver – exact location to be determined by turnout.

Agenda:

  • 9:00 – 9:15 Introduction; Hot Topics for Contract Management and Procurement in 2010 – Tim Cummins, CEO, IACCM (via webcast)
  • 9:15 – 9:45 The Accenture Way: how Accenture organizes and manages its contract and commercial operations
  • 9:45 – 10:05 Network break
  • 10:05 – 10:45 Panel discussion: panel members will discuss the way that their organizations develop contract management skills and capabilities
  • 10:45 – 11:20 The Vancouver Olympics: War Stories
  • 11:20 – 11: 30 Wrap-up, next meeting plans, close
