As you know I have been covering Rosslyn Analytics since early January (although they were on my radar screen well before then).

In the two articles that I have written, January 27th, 2010 – Rosslyn Analytics Adaptive Intelligence Reflects Scientific Principles and, March 18th, 2010 – Rosslyn Analytics: Find a Need and Fill IT! I shared within the somewhat limited confines of an average-sized blog post the reasons why I believe that this is a company to watch.

With the release of this white paper, which provided the opportunity to expand on the thought process presented in the above posts, you will gain what I believe will be important insight into what I refer to as the “democratization” of analytical data.  In fact, the actual title of the paper is “Democratizing Analytics: From Practical Access to Real-World, Enterprise-Wide Relevance.”

Specifically, I will examine what is meant by democratizing analytics as it relates to the timely access and intelligent utilization of information to establish and then quantify real-world results in critical areas such as financial outcomes, increased personnel performance and strategy compliance and maintenance.

In today’s Web 2.0 world (and beyond), the real-time, real-world visibility that is necessary to ensure sustainable best-value results, is dependent on the provision of intelligence (spend intelligence) that is readily and reliably accessible at the actual point of decision-making or purchase.  Emerging spend intelligence SaaS providers not only get this, they also deliver it in a dramatically condensed time line.

As an added benefit, everyone who has subscribed to the Procurement Insights Blog will receive a special access code for a private white paper briefing session in May on the PI Window on Business secure broadcast channel.  This invitation only event will provide both live call-in and chat room access for you to pose questions as well as provide comments on this latest Procurement Insights paper.

If you have not already subscribed to the Procurement Insights Blog, you can do so by simply clicking on the “Subscribe” button at the bottom of the right side index on the blog’s main page.  There is no charge to subscribe.

Rosslyn Analytics Founder and Chief Executive Officer Charles Clark to be a guest on PI Window on Business

Rosslyn Analytics CEO Charles Clark will be joining me on the PI Window on Business on April 27th to talk about the company’s “non-consultant approach to rapid deployment,” and how the emergence of SaaS-based spend intelligence solutions have dramatically changed the eProcurement landscape.

About Charles:

Charles is a highly experienced and well regarded senior executive. He co-founded Rosslyn Analytics Ltd. and Ockham Capital Ltd. and, prior to this was an Executive Director of the asset management division of Panmure Gordon, managing $1.3 billion globally. Charles has extensive experience of working with fast growing companies and the capital markets, whilst also currently sitting on the board of the highly successful SeaDragon Offshore Ltd, where he was responsible for corporate governance.

In recognition of his leadership in establishing Rosslyn Analytics as a pioneer and leader in cloud computing software as a service (SaaS) spend analysis, Charles was recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a 2010 ‘Pro to Know’ for his commitment to “helping clients address the challenges of the recession and prepare for the recovery ahead.”
