Have you ever woken one morning and, while enjoying the first sips of coffee, thought to yourself: How would you rank the following from best to worst for insights on the ProcureTech industry: Gartner, Forrester Wave, G2 Grid, ProcureTech 100, Everest Group PRAK Matrix, Spend Matters SolutionMap, IDC MarketScape?

Now understand: Generative AI is a great tool, but like AgenticAI, it can’t be left unchecked and unchallenged. Just because someone can ask a question or knows the right question to ask doesn’t mean they have the experience and expertise to filter and assess the information effectively.

So, as you read the following rankings, filter your assessment through a filter of knowing each one beyond a cursory understanding.

For example, after 40-plus years, I agree with Spend Matters’ number-one ranking. Do you know why?

Because I know and have actually met Jason Busch and Bertrand Malteverne and have had more than one email exchange with Carina Kuhl. I know the integrity of purpose that drives Spend Matters because it started at the beginning and at the top.

I do have some knowledge of each of the organizations listed below. But I will stop at Spend Matters because I want to hear your thoughts on how AI rated the raters.
