Energized and rapid is the best way that I can describe this morning’s interview with Ivalua CMO Alex Saric regarding the company’s recent acquisition of Directworks.

In fact, I would be hard-pressed to remember any other segment that had a similar sprint-like pace to today’s show. That said, it was also one of the more interesting interviews I have had, especially given the fact that Ivalua is now emerging into the brightness of the industry spotlight after ten years of working in what one might consider being obscurity.

A staunchly private company, Alex expressed the organization’s commitment to a native integration strategy that is reflective of a seamless MS Office-type platform. The MS-Office analogy was mine, but Alex did not disagree with it.

There were many other interesting points of discussion throughout the show, so use the following link to access it on-demand; http://www.blogtalkradio.com/jon-hansen/2017/11/03/acquisition-news-ivalua-cmo-alex-saric-talks-about-directworks-acquisition

In the meantime, here is a question for you; why do most Mergers & Acquisitions fail?
