Long View Systems ActivateDigital 2018 Conference is scheduled for February 27th, 2018 in Guelph, Ontario. What makes this conference different from any other? It will be the first time anywhere that Microsoft Canada’s Kevin Peesker, Cisco Canada’s Rola Dagher, and HPE’s John Dathan will be together in one place since assuming their respective roles as head of these leading industry organizations.
Joined by Blackberry’s Senior Vice President Margaret Stuart, this impressive lineup of speakers will share with you their visions for where the industry is headed and how we are going to get there.
Starting today, and in the coming weeks leading up to what I consider to be a must-attend event, Procurement Insights will be featuring articles written by these individuals as well as by senior members of the Long View organization.
Today’s first installment from Long View Executive Vice President Sales Dave Frederickson is titled “Taking The Long View: Who Are Those Guys.”

Being somewhat of a classic movie buff, I was well into enjoying the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid when the scene in which the posse in pursuit of Butch and Sundance causes our heroes to ask the question; Who are those guys?!?
Now I have always enjoyed this movie, but this time this part of the movie struck me in particular because in Ontario Long View is one of the “who are those guys!”
While Long View Ontario is rapidly expanding its presence in the Province, our well-earned anonymity in the region is because our focus is always on delivering great value to our clients. In other words, we let our work do our talking for us, which is why the phrase that best describes Long View Ontario is “you may not know who we are, but you definitely know our work.”
Of course, the focus on delivering great value to our clients is reflective of the original vision of Long View company founder Don Bialik. Don, who has built Long View into a company with annual revenues of $400 million and the number 5 position in the Top 100 Solution Providers listing in Canada, is a dominant presence in Western Canada.
As one of the members of the original team that established Long View’s Ontario branch, I am pleased to tell you that we are following a similar meteoric track having reached $65 million in annual revenue in 2017.
All this to say, is that myself, Ivan Brinjak, and Nolan Evans are very excited about the future and are looking forward to helping you to put a face to our Ontario team at our ActivateDigital2018 Conference on February 27th in Guelph.
