Life Lessons That You Never Forget

On December 1st, it will have been 18 years since I was forced to assume the Presidency of the public company that acquired my company for $12 million.

It was probably one of the most challenging times in my life as I never wanted to be President of a publicly-traded company, nor have the responsibilities that came with it – let alone one that was in trouble. I think I aged 10-years in that short period.

Fortunately, and has the second headline reports, I was able to spin-off into a separate, new enterprise that enjoyed some success.

However, the lessons learned have stayed with me to this day.

Dynasty Days

Here are the lessons.
Lesson Number 1: Take Time To Enjoy The Ride
Lesson Number 2: What Goes Up . . .
Lesson Number 3: . . . Must Come Down
Lesson Number 4: Success Is Not Final and Failure Is Not Fatal
