Celebrating their 100th year at their upcoming conference in Phoenix, I had the opportunity to catch-up with the Institute for Supply Management’s Chief Executive Officer Tom Derry yesterday afternoon on my PI Window on the World radio show.

While we talked briefly about the conference, as well as ISM’s teaming with ThomasNet.com to launch the first Top 30 Under 30 program – which recognized the up and coming procurement stars from Generation Next, our discussion was focused primarily on the “three questions” I have been posing to industry experts in our Procurement Unplugged Series.
Suffice to say, the 30 minutes flew buy as Tom provided his views on everything from where the industry is headed, to the differences between public and private sector procurement practice.
