What do Scope 3 legislation, gas-guzzling cars being shipped to third-world countries and Olympian Michael Phelps admitting he pees in the pool have in common?

Okay, this could be a delicate conversation, so if you have a low tolerance regarding human bodily functions – like breathing clean air, turn away now.

About the time my third cup of coffee was kicking in, I received an email from Reuters EventsGrace Dearden about Scope 3 Reporting with Bayer, Seventh Generation and American Electric Power – that’s right, this post is Grace’s fault 😉

By the way, here is the link to info on the upcoming conference: https://1.reutersevents.com/LP=34304?utm_campaign=5909-22JUN23-WK15-NA%20DB-FF&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Eloqua&elqTrackId=333197eecb874cf8be7bd2ef70e37693&elq=5c7ec51c351e42aa9a583cf490b17a01&elqaid=84536&elqat=1&elqCampaignId=75307

Regarding the comparisons to gas-guzzling cars and David Phelps’ bladder, if we are all in the same pool with the latter, is it any different than being in the same world as the countries with an abundance of fossil fuel cars? In both instances, is there an invisible barrier we don’t know about?
