I was somewhat young when I first watched the 1966 Dracula: Prince of Darkness movie with Christopher Lee in the star role. As a side note, my older brothers always felt the Bela Legosi’s earlier version was much better, but I disagreed.
Anyway, after watching the movie one Saturday night, I was a little creeped out. So, that night under a cross my brother made with burnt matchsticks at camp, I wore a turtle neck sweater to bed. Did I forget to mention that is was in the middle of summer doing an especially hot stretch of weather? Besides sweating like crazy, when I awoke the next morning, my neck and shoulders were sore because I had “hunched” my neck into my shoulders for most of the night. Let’s be honest, a turtle neck sweater doesn’t offer the same level of proteaction as wearing garlic cloves.
Fast forward to 2024, I no longer slouch when I am sleeping and believe that the best use of garlic is on pasta or bread. However, I am now wondering what kind of nightmares keep CPOs and procurement professionals in general up at night.
Why am I asking you to take another survey?
I am looking for 15 to 20 top CPOs to respond to a very brief survey focusing on the following three key areas:
- Procurement priorities for 2025
- Leadership challenges
- Emerging trends and technologies
Here is the Survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BMB8TD3
The reason I am asking is that I am presenting a session on what really matters to you as a CPO. By the way, if you are not a CPO instead of enerting your name in the space provided, enter (I Am Not A CPO). It will be very interesting to how CPO concerns align with rest of the enterpise world.
Thank you, in advance.
