Dr. Thierry Fausten, the demos do not have to be perfect, but they do have to “demonstrate” a clear agent-based understanding and show a clear path to the progressive evolution of the platform.

I have seen overviews of solutions on PowerPoint slides that, while elementary and fundamental in their structure, are farther ahead than many of the solutions I see in a live setting.

Based on the above, solution providers with a working demo are reluctant to show it because they feel it is their competitive advantage and don’t want to give the competition any ideas.

Conversely, those who don’t have a working demo are super secretive for the opposite reason – they have smoke and mirrors.

There is a third group – I call them the courageous dreamers who know their demo is crap but still go out there showing and selling it because their vision blinds them. I am still waiting to hear back from several providers. Maybe we should eliminate any provider unwilling or unable to demonstrate their solution from consideration.
