The following poll was conducted over a two-week period Between October 25th and November 8th, 2024.

161,423 Purchasing & Global Supply Chain Professionals (PGSCP) LinkedIn Group members were asked the following question: What percentage of ProcureTech AI solution providers will no longer be in business at the end of 2025?

Given that we live in the AI era of ChatGPT and other AI-related tools (e.g., Generative AI and Agentic AI), in which there is a push to have the technology assume an autonomous detachment from human intervention, the purpose of this paper is twofold.

In the first instance, I will pose a series of questions to ChatGPT, asking for feedback on critical points of the above poll. Then, after reviewing the ChatGPT feedback, I will introduce the responses from ChatGPT to the PGSCP Group to get their take on the poll results in a meeting of the AI and Human minds.
