As many of you already know, I have been covering public sector procurement policy and practice at all levels of government quite extensively for some time.
From the Government of Canada’s Way Forward programs to the UK’s Gershon Review to the impact of cluster development and even the private sector influence of a Wal-Mart, I think it is safe to say that I have seen a great deal of water run under the proverbial PS procurement bridge.
As Procurement Insights has grown into a multimedia enterprise encompassing a number of blogs, the PI Window on Business Blog Talk Radio Show and the soon to be launched PI Window on Business TV Channel, I have endeavored to share with you the dramatic changes that are re-shaping both the public (and private) sector world of procurement and supply chain practice.
Through the collaborative reach of social media, this has also meant that our syndication coverage has also grown quite rapidly to include articles on us and links to us through other sites such as Charles Dominick’s highly popular Purchasing Certification Blog, or premier buying group Corporate United’s Blog Center.
Recently, this extended coverage has been expanded to include a page on the Commonwealth of Virginia’s eVA website. Dedicated exclusively to our coverage of the eVA program over the past few years, the site lists all of the articles I have written on this exceptional initiative including the July 16th PI Window on Business segment “The JLARC Review: Phantom Echoes of Discontent,” and the upcoming (July 29th) “Call-In” segment “The Virginia Legislative Review of eVA.”
Use our convenient PI Window on Business Player below to access the on-demand version of the July 16th show.
In the meantime, I would encourage you to take advantage of the convenience of this centralized source of reference material as both the articles and radio broadcasts will provide you with a clear and concise picture of why – although not perfect – Virginia’s eVA has and continues to be the shining beacon of effective and efficient public sector procurement practice.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
The PI Window on Business Program is now a featured Show across the entire Blog Talk Radio Network.
